Our Little Dragons program is designed for the younger students. If qualified, students may start the Little Dragons class as early as 3½ years old.
In these classes, the students learn the fundamentals of karate, which are the basics for a lot of activities. Balance, coordination, control, and timing are just a few of the physical elements the students learn. Mentally, the students learn about focus, self-discipline, respect and teamwork.
The Little Dragons class is used as a springboard to our regular curriculum classes. Individuals will graduate from this program when the instructor feels the student is ready to move on. Once the students has moved on, they generally are a better beginner student because of the solid fundamentals taught in the Little Dragons class.
We also offer morning and evening classes just for adults who wish to focus on a more rigorous work-out.
Our introductory program is where every student starts, except for our Little Dragons. This program is for one year and gets the student to the ranking of Blue belt. While in this program, the student is encouraged to try for their Master Club program qualification. A student must work towards certain milestones in our introductory program to qualify to move on to Master Club. Until the student’s instructor decides it is time for the student to move up, the student stays in this program. Upon graduating from the Little Dragons program, a student would enter the Introductory program.

The Qualification Process
To achieve your goal of Black Belt it is vital that you set your goal and commit to its attainment. At Seo’s Martial Arts, White and Gold Belt levels are Black Belt qualification levels. All students who qualify for Master Club and who are serious about their development are expected to join the Master Club in the last month of their Gold Belt training (prior to testing for Orange Belt). Your only goal at White and Gold Belt is to qualify for acceptance into the Master Club.
This is our most rewarding program offered at Seo’s Martial Arts. Our Leadership program unlocks all available classes to the student. The student may now train with staff in staff-only classes. These classes are taught by Grand Master Seo, giving you access to higher forms, special self-defense, and other curriculum. Think of it as one-on-one training with Grand Master Seo.
Not only are you learning great curriculum, you learn how to teach martial arts. The leadership program prepares the student to be an instructor at Seo’s Martial Arts. If teaching martial arts is something you are interested in, starting in the Leadership program is the natural choice.
Prerequisites for the Leadership program are:
• You are a 1st degree black belt, or are in prep cycle getting ready for your black belt test
• Outstanding attendance and are a regular SWAT member
• Last, but not least, you must have and excellent attitude and are willing to take on a job that is fun and challenging
